Welcome to my photo gallery.

My name is Rick. A little information about me. I have twenty plus years as a volunteer fire fighter. Due to reasons beyond my control, I’m no longer active as a volunteer fire fighter. I have taken photos for over twenty-five years. My collection includes emergency apparatus, fire stations, fire department training sessions, emergency services public events and some emergency scenes. I have emergency apparatus mainly from the east coast, with some apparatus photos from basically around the United States. I will also be posting photos from my travels around the United States.

I have posted some photos in a couple of the galleries that you will notice didn't come out the best. Why did I post them, I learn from all the pictures I take good or bad. If I may ask please fill free to past along any comments good or bad about my photos. If you have any suggestions how I could improve any of them, I would be interested in any advice you can give. Update: 1-21-09 As you can see I have been adding additional galleries to my SmugMug site and rearranging them.

I have finally had a chance to be out and about more. 2007 started off with me going to Hawaii. I returned on April 15th, 2007 after spending nine days in O’ahu Hawaii. As I posted before, this has really given me a chance to use my Nikon D80. This camera is truly amazing. I have yet to try all of it features.

10-14-07 10-19-08 went to the Philadelphia Fire School for a fire safety expo & muster hosted by the Fireman’s Hall Museum & the Philadelphia Fire Dept. I would strongly recommend if you have a chance in 2009, attend this event. Outstanding!
2008 I added various photos from Dauphin County, also photos of the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire, plus there was alot of other photos added
